Music and Fashion have a strong influence on the Fall/Winter 2012 Pennyblack collection, which is presenting a compilation of styles, looks and ideas for all musical tastes. Until November 4 the Pennyblack facebook fan page will become #PENNYBEATS, a musical tour that will involve and reward its most active and passionate fans. #PENNYBEATS: give voice to your style. A musical talent scouting project dedicated to female bands and independent artists especially active on the web. The main target is to give space to emerging young talents offering the possibility to users to become cool-hunters for the research of The "PENNY BAND". Ready to join the "PENNYBEATS COMMUNITY"? Click on and follow these simple steps... 1. Select the musical genre that best represents your favourite band starting from Pennyblack's suggestions.MOD STYLE: Soul, jazz, ska, brit pop...just a few of the musical genres that represent the evolution of this style. COUNTRY CHIC: Rodeo sound, western song, folk...many variations that descend from a single genre: country music. PENNY'N'ROLL: electro pop, punk rock, r&b...all the sounds together for a more contemporary, rock style. CLASSIC REMIX: lyrics, opera, piano solo, string quartet...the beat of soft music. 2. Invite your friends to support the band you have chosen clicking on LIKE. PLEASE NOTE:To be considered by the artistic committee, bands must have at least one female member. Starting from the music collection created by Pennyblack's fans, a committee composed of fashion and music experts will select the band that will become the official voice of The "PENNY BAND", that will be the protagonist of a secret concert to be held in one of the Pennyblack stores. Each video will be checked prior to uploading to ensure that only morally correct, unoffensive material, inherent to the proposed theme will be published on Pennyblack's facebook fan page.
